Sacramento, CA — December 22, 2022— Prestige Development Group and Single Mom Strong, both of Sacramento, CA have partnered to provide presents and Christmas dinner for two local families that have survived family violence. “According to The American Journal of Emergency Medicine, incidents of family violence have risen by 25 – 33 percent globally, and the United Nations has called the increase a “shadow pandemic”. The National Domestic Violence hotline is on record as saying that they received 74,000 calls, chats and texts in February of this year – that’s the highest monthly contact volume in the organization’s 25-year history. Families need support, particularly during the holiday season, and Single Mom Strong and PDG are proud to play a role in providing joy this holiday season to these two worthy families” said Tiffany Sequeira, CEO of Prestige Development Group and co-founder of Karen’s House.
